How Does a PDO Thread Lift Work?
To begin your thread lift, a team member will thoroughly clean your skin. Once this is done, we will administer a strong numbing cream to the treatment areas. We may also ask you to take oral pain medication before your treatment if you're worried about experiencing any discomfort. Kimberly Miller, FNP will then mark the areas where threads will be used to ensure your best results. We will then inject a local anesthetic into the treatment areas to ensure your comfort throughout the process. As soon as you are fully numb, we will place the threads underneath the skin in the predetermined areas and adjust them as needed until we achieve the desired outcome. When your procedure is over, the Nurse Practitioner will provide you with post-op instructions. The placement of the threads only takes about 20 – 30 minutes to complete, but you can expect to be at our Abingdon, VA office for around two hours.

I went in for treatment for a vein on my nose and I left with the vein already disappearing! Dr. Berry was so kind during the entire process and even took the time to show me how the process works! He knew exactly how to treat my vein in the most effective way, as I have already had 6 treatments at a different place with no results. The staff in the office made me feel so welcomed, they were all smiling and so friendly! I would recommend anyone as my experience all around was phenomenal!!!
The staff are exceptional. Dr. Barry is so knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The difference I experienced after my procedure was incredible.
