How Does IPL Work?
IPL is performed at our Johnson City, TN or Abingdon, VA office in about 20 – 30 minutes in our minor procedures room if no other treatments are performed. To prepare for the procedure, your licensed technician will clean and dry the skin to be treated before covering your eyes with goggles. The IPL is performed using a handheld device that will pass over the skin while emitting pulses of light energy. I went in for treatment for a vein on my nose and I left with the vein already disappearing! Dr. Berry was so kind during the entire process and even took the time to show me how the process works! He knew exactly how to treat my vein in the most effective way, as I have already had 6 treatments at a different place with no results. The staff are exceptional. Dr. Barry is so knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The difference I experienced after my procedure was incredible.
